Founders Joann Kuno and Smutty Smiff grew up in the 70s, amongst the rockers, mods and teds, subcultures that had a strong pride for their style, fashion and music. Inspired by this sense of ownership and pride, the quest for the perfect grooming product began. JS Sloane Co. Bespoke gentlemen's grooming products was created, and named after Sloane Square, an iconic place of the 70s that is remembered fondly by the owners.

Brilliantine is a hair-grooming product intended to soften men's hair, including beards and moustaches, and give it a glossy, well-groomed appearance. JS Sloane Heavyweight Brilliantine is brilliant; it has all the properties of what a brilliantine, with a medium to heavy hold and it washes out easily with just water!
